Description
Dimar's carbide inserts Ogee Bead bits consists of two arcs that curve in opposite senses so that the ends are parallel. In architecture, the name is also used for moulding with an ogee-shaped profile, consisting (going from low to high) of a concave arc flowing into a convex arc, with vertical ends. Some slight variations of the standard ogee are also known as “wavy bits”. A “stepped ogee” is basically an ogee bit with a step-like design at the intersection of the two curves, to give it a detailed design.
- Two flutes are ideal when fine finishing is a priority.
- Works on most CNC, Hand-Held, and table routers.
- Cuts most softwood and hardwood.
